MARLYBORNE
Marlyborne is a jazz trio made up of three musicians and a vocalist: Tom Brodbeck on drums and percussion, Ron Lamoureux on bass and vocals, Matthew Desousa on piano and Elizabeth Sadler on vocals.
The band strikes a delicate balance. Each instrument finds its place in the sonic palette and rhythmic scheme. By reducing the number of musicians, the trio opens more space in the sonic texture for each musician to explore.
The genre-bending repertoire frees the group to integrate other textures and rhythms. The group is just as likely to explore odd-time signatures or a straight rock back-beat.
As part of its search for inclusion and innovation, Marlyborne always features the key vocalist or other musicians along with the bass, piano and percussion. Besides the traditional jazz tunes, the band will explore the Brazilian sounds of Samba and Bossa Nova and move to recognizable R&B songs. The change in vocals and instrumentation opens up other possible sound pallets without creating a significant change in the choice of material.
Whether it’s a large venue, a quaint café or jazz bar, Marlyborne will keep you entertained and will have you coming back for more. Unique, original, and timely.
A touch of jazz and a more.
DUST RHINOS
From basement pubs to festival stages the Dust Rhinos have been bringing their particular brand of punk flavoured Irish trad to venues large, small, and otherwise since 1992. Blossoming from a trio of buskers to a 5-piece Celtic rock juggernaut, the Rhinos have tread the boards with acts as varied as The Dropkick Murphys, Gaelic Storm, Alabama, Leahy, the Barra MacNeils, and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Whether a house concert, pub night, or festival (Dauphin Countryfest, Festival du Voyageur, Winnipeg Folk Festival, the Grey Cup Festival and counting!) the Rhinos’ controlled chaos will get people out of their seats, on the dance floor, and clamouring for One! More! Song!
With influences that include the Pogues, the Oysterband, Spirit of the West, the Clash, and Peter Gabriel, it’s no wonder the Rhinos have a powerful, yet multi-faceted and layered sound and playing style. An aggressive, but subtle sonic assault. Ever seen a ceilidh break out in a mosh pit? Or vice versa? Expect it at a Rhinos show. As their loyal and ever-growing fan base can attest, when the Dust Rhinos are on stage, the only thing that won’t take you by surprise is how much fun you’re having

DOMINIC KERWIN
A well-known and well-travelled performer in the Irish country music scene, Dominic Kirwan got his first bit of success as a performer when he won an Irish Dancing Champion at a young age. Born June 5, 1960, in Omagh, County Tyrone, Dominic Thomas Kirwan carried his love of performance into the creation of his first band, The Melody Boys, in 1979. The Melody Boys would gain a local following with their well-received live shows, but it was a solo success that Kirwan was after, and in 1985 he went off on his own and released a single and album. The single, “Alice In Wonderland,” was a moderate hit, and Kirwan quickly followed it up with a full-length album. In 1989, Kirwan scored a record deal with Ritz Records and would go on to share stages with some of country music’s leading artists, such as Kenny Rogers, Charley Pride, and Tammy Wynette. Over the years Kirwan would release more albums, a handful of DVDs, but — and most importantly — would continue to be a popular live act in his home country.
Dominic Kirwan has the ability to light up any stage that he commands with his warm charismatic approach, his welcoming Irish vocal tones, his genuine engagement with his audience and fans is truly something to be seen. His show covers many musical genres with an eclectic mix of Originality, Classic Country, Rock n Roll, an Irish ballad or two, bringing to you entertainment at its best.
Recently asked about his career to date and his fans, Dominic happily opened up to a warm smile, pondered for a moment and said “I’m lucky to have done what I’ve done to date, seen what I’ve seen, travelled to many beautiful parts of the world, met the many beautiful people I’ve met and to have had the support from the many wonderful fans I have throughout the world .. Along with family and friends, the fans have given me the opportunity to live this life and make my living, for that, I will always be eternally grateful”
With Dominic’s own unique vocal style and instantly recognizable voice, the future unknown to us all will still find a special place in audiences of today and tomorrow for this genuine, sincere and homely boy from Omagh.

DOZY, DEAKY, MITCH, & TICH
The band’s name stems from the nicknames of the members, and was thoroughly twisted and mangled by DJs and presenters alike. Well, you’ve got to admit it’s a bit of a mouthful, and it’s much easier to refer to them as The Dozies for short.
Another aspect that made them stand out from the crowd was their fashion sense. They would design their own clothes, get the material and have them sewn together by a lady in Cheshire. Later the designs would be copied and appear in some form in the Carnaby Street boutiques for public consumption. Check out some of the vintage footage of the band and you’ll be aware that they had quite an influence on the clothing scene at the time.
MONUMENTS GALORE
“I never thought I was a great singer, but I do think I’m a damn good performer, and that our band always put on a damn good show.
