until we get the full complement of what we will need. 

They will be available for the 

4 Day 3 Night trips (Sunday – Wednesday), 

the 3 Day/ 2 night trips (Wednesday – Friday), 

and the (Friday – Sunday) trips.

We will be taking reservation soon.

on your Music City Manitoba – mini-vacation.

There will also be tent accommodations available (for the events in summer).

 

The costs for the accommodations are included in your trips. 

We will have a Welcome Package of coffee, water, snacks, and other things in them, waiting for you, as well.

We could string them along the shoreline, giving the impression that it is an actual train.

The more cars we could find the more accommodations we can make out of them.

Assuming that they are 60′ long, we could probably get 6 units on each level x 2 levels  = 12 units per car.

1 car = 6 cabins x 2 floors = 12 cabins x 2 people = 24 people per car.

10 cars = 60 cabins x 2 floors = 120 cabins x 2 people = 240 people

30 cars = 180 cabins x 2 floors = 360 cabins x 2 people = 720 people

WHERE IN THE WORLD CAN WE FIND THESE? AT NEXT TO NOTHING COSTS.

(Then we would have to move them, to the property. That would be a huge expense).

CP Rail used to have a version of these types of cars, I guess that is the best place to start.

We will attempt to purchase, or acquire as many of these old barges. There used to be dozens of them on Lake Winnipeg at one time.

We will attempt to find them, and see if they can be floated again. We could put a number of cabins on them, and they would come with their own pump out septic tanks.

We will help clean up the eyesores they have become, now.

Instead of using Tents in the summer, if the costs were right, we might want to use these. I would prefer that.

We could put in 2 bunks, and maybe 1 Port O Pottie for 1 – 5 units.

Our goal would be to have about 2500 of these units in place within the first 5 years.

 

These will be used for permanent tenting accommodations. For summer use only. 

To be used from June 1 – October 15 each year. 

These would be in addition to the Glamping Chalets.

They would have to be manufactured, with bunk beds. Maybe we can put in 2 sets of bunk beds ( 4 people)

Keeping in mind we can get tents for less than $100.00 each.

(We will also get a reasonable facsimile of these for the Fishing Shacks, for ice fishing use).

Our “Glamping Chalets” will be robust, designed and made for Manitoba’s harsh weather. We will use Galvanized steel and aluminum steel windows, and door frames. Our siding will be made to handle any weather. The structure is made to last a lifetime and does not require any paint or maintenance. 

Main structure and frames are powder coated to protect from rust. the outer structure is fabricated from a single curved sheet of fiberglass, designed to withstand various topographies and climates. The front and side, however, constitute full-frame floor-to-ceiling double-layer laminated glass panels that provide extravagant 360-degree unobstructed views of the outdoors, while helping insulate the interiors. They are also termite resistant.

No longer will you need to pay $150 – $350. ++ for a hotel room, not when coming to Music City Manitoba – Winnipeg, anyway. We will provide you with a first class, cozy, and warm, no cost accommodations. . 

We’ve developed a system for designing, manufacturing, and installing beautiful dwellings at minimal time and expense. So that we can still offer all the trips with the accommodations included.

Our Glamping Pods will be made to be dissembled easily, so we can place them most anywhere.

Saving on total costs and unnecessary construction waste, these modular pods/villas come prefabricated and do not require any foundation. They’re built to be stable, spacious, and structurally sound, and can easily be lifted up and shifted anywhere on the planet without any limitations to terrains and topography.

Each ”village” will accommodate up to 28 pods or 56  – 112 people, or 1 – 2 buses. Every night for our rotating 3 & 4 Day trips, and for our year long program.                                      

10 – 50 villages would be perfect, for the overall project.  We will set up our own construction team to eventually build them, locally. Thus creating  a spinoff industry. A lot of jobs, could be created.

These units must be compatible to where they will be placed. Will  be used in both Summer & Winter.

If and when available, they could be used for the homeless in the winter, as well.

THE WILD WILLOW CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION HAS BEEN SET UP FOR THE EXCLUSIVE PURPOSE OF DESIGNING AND CONSTRUCTING ALL OUR GLAMPING PODS THAT WILL BE REQUIRED TO HOUSE THE MILLIONS OF TOURISTS THAT WILL BE DELIVERED TO MANITOBA OVER THE NEXT NUMBER OF YEARS. THEY WILL ALSO BE CHARGED WITH MAINTAINING OUR ENTERTAINMENT BUILDING AND KEEPING THEM IN IMMACULATE CONDITION, AT ALL TIMES.

THIS CREW WILL BE SELECTED FROM THE LOCAL AREA AND WILL BE TRAINED IN ALL THE NECESSARY LEVELS OF THE CONSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE, AND ERECTION OF THE UNITS.

THIS CREW WILL CONSIST OF 5 LEAD PEOPLE AND WILL BE PERMANENT STAFF. OTHER TEMPORARY WORKERS WILL BE ADDED, AS REQUIRED, AND WILL BE TRAINED BY THESE 5 INDIVIDUALS IN THE VARIOUS ASPECT OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF THESE UNITS

The coronavirus has changed everything. Getaway and experience the tranquility of nature in a secluded glamping pod “Chalet” that is just steps from the 10th largest freshwater lake in the World! The Music City Manitoba – Winnipeg glamping site is ideal for two adults and up to three children. Music City Manitoba’s – Winnipeg glamping site offers the perfect mix of luxury and nature, giving guests the time and space to relax, recharge and reconnect. You will feel like you are a million miles away, yet we are conveniently located just minutes from dozens of towns in Manitoba.

The Music City Manitoba – Winnipeg glamping site is on a completely secluded campsite yet is just minutes from the Music City Manitoba Event Site.  It features a comfortable twin bed with crisp, clean sheets, a comforter, and pillows and has a futon that converts to a full bed for the kids.

Stay away from the crowds and get back to nature where social distancing comes naturally. Your getaway can include hiking, bike riding, horseback riding, watching the wildlife from your deck, toasting marshmallows around the campfire, or just relaxing in nature.

We are located minutes from down town Winnipeg, Manitoba. It is a glamp ground for the modern buccaneer, urban adventurer, or outdoor enthusiast. We offer a unique and convenient place to stay while enjoying Manitoba’s great outdoors, and everything it has to offer.

Music City Manitoba – Winnipeg glamp sites will be cleaned and disinfected after each guest. The Pod will be fogged and disinfected with an EPA registered fungicide, disinfectant, sanitizer, cleaner and deodorizer (RMR 141). All of the hard surfaces will be disinfected with a bleach-based cleaner.

Our Beds – Your glamp site’s bed will have a mattress pad, a hypoallergenic mattress protector and hypoallergenic pillow protectors. Before you arrive we will wash and disinfect the sheets, quilts, mattress protectors, and pillow protectors in hot water with detergent.

Our Bathrooms – Our bathrooms will be clean and disinfected at least once per stay.

Cooking – We will provide a microwave and stove right in the pod. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and drinking water are available in our Store.  We will provide disposable (paper and plastic) plates, cups, and eating utensils. All surfaces will be disinfected daily. Additionally, the disinfectant solution is available for guests’ use.

IMPORTANT: Glamping is in Manitoba’s great outdoors, so be prepared to accept the inherent risk of your adventure including wildlife, insects, and unpredictable conditions (we can’t control the weather or winds and the lake). Come with an adventurous and open mind, proper clothing, and some bug spray.

We will Provide; Clean sheets, pillows, comforters, towels, hand towels, washcloths, Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and drinking water (in each “Chalet”) a shower, sink and microwave, friendly guest service, Lake access. Additionally, you can rent canoes, kayaks, bicycles, parasailing equipment horses, etc.

and of course, you will get to see 3 – 6 Amazing Entertainers per day

THESE GLAMPING PODS MAY ALSO BE USED FOR HOMELESS SHELTERS IN THE WINTER, IF AVAILABLE.
