We will offer to buy the three cruise ships for $1.00. We will relocate, renovate, and retrofit them, and put them to good use again, at Music City Manitoba.
We will also pay $1.00 per person for every person that takes a cruise with us for a period of 10 years.
Beginning when they take the first cruise.
Depending on the capacity of each one, that could be as much as;
500 passengers x 120 days per year x 10 years x $1.00 = $600,000.00
They are not worth a damn thing now. So, there is nothing to lose, everything to gain.
You will be helping us save and restore, some of Manitoba’s great history.
If these boats are too hard, or too costly, to float again, we can turn them into Mini – Motels.
That will serve our purpose, just as well. I figure we might be able to get as many as 25-50 (2 levels) Units on the River Rouge – and maybe 14 or so on the Lady Winnipeg. (1 Level)
We would strategically place them on the property so that each side of the cabins, could have a lake view.
If that doesn’t work either, we can simply build a replica of a boat, and that way it will be much easier to get what we want and need. We can build it to the size we need. 2 or 3 stories if necessary.
We will get other boats for cruising, if these ones don’t work out.

I know that this boat was owned at one time by Ed Price. I knew him well. He hauled a lot of stuff for me back in the day. It parked on the banks of my property, many times.
I believe it was last used in Poplar River. Where it exploded. I have no idea of the damaged caused or if it will ever be sea worthy again. But I have an idea, for something similar.

There used to be dozens of large barges used on Lake Winnipeg. I would like to find 3 or 4 of them. We can make use of them. For example we can use one for a floating Coffee House, complete with live entertainment.

We can also put a number of cabins on these barges.
We should look at the possibility of having a “long boat”, something like this built right here in Manitoba.
It would not have to be exactly like this, but something that will serve our needs, over a long period of time.
