PURPOSE OF THIS EVENT
The purpose of this Promotional Event is to help raise the funds that are required for the establishment and construction of the Music City Manitoba Venue and to illustrate the exciting type of entertainment that we will have on a daily basis, once the building is constructed.
And so that our musicians will have a permanent place to call home, that we can run on a daily basis, and give as many people as possible, a very inexpensive form of entertainment, (some of which have never performed in Manitoba before), that they will ever be offered from anyone in North America.

This preliminary promotional version of our huge Singsation Tournament is laid out to allow all promotional event contestants to be able to see all the entertainers (main promotional event show at Shaw Park) and still participate in the singing competition, all of which will be included with their VIP cards.
A total of 7488 contestants will be accepted, for the total competition, but only a total of 330 (time restrictions) will be invited to participate in the Singsation Promotional Event.
Motorcoaches from Alberta, Sask. Manitoba, Western Ontario, North Dakota & Minnesota will be available for the contestants from those areas. Of course, you can get here anyway you like.
The top 3 finalists from the promotional competition, will be hired on a yearly salary basis, beginning on opening night of our venue, if they so desire, to perform on a scheduled routine, throughout the following year. Expect a salary in the range of $62,500.00 – $93,600.00 per year. They will also receive a 12 Day motorcoach/train trip to the Gulf of Mexico.
They will be asked to perform their 2 songs each, on the last night of the event at Shaw Park @ about 10:45 pm, if they are in town.
The top 5 finalists will also receive an 8 -12 song CD, produced by the Music City Manitoba Team, and we will also distribute thousands of them for you, with an automatic entry into the main 312 day – Singsation Tournament.
Highlights from your performance may be used in TV commercials, infomercials, etc…

The Fabulous Thunderbirds
For over 30 years, The Fabulous Thunderbirds have been the quintessential American band. The group’s distinctive and powerful sound, influenced by a diversity of musical styles, manifested itself into a unique musical hybrid via such barnburners as “Tuff Enuff” and “Wrap It Up”. Co-founder Kim Wilson, the sole original member, still spearheads the group as it evolves into its newest incarnation.
“We started as a straight blues band”, vocalist and harmonica player Wilson says. “We now incorporate a mixture of a lot of different styles. We’re an American music band and we’re much higher energy than we were before.”
“To be in the T-Birds, you need to understand the different styles of music and different ways of playing,” Wilson comments. “You have to be willing to adopt a more contemporary style. The guys we have now are able to do that.”

Three Dog Night is an American-Irish rock band formed in 1967, with founding members consisting of vocalists Danny Hutton, Cory Wells, and Chuck Negron. This lineup was soon augmented by Jimmy Greenspoon (keyboards), Joe Schermie (bass), Michael Allsup (guitar), and Floyd Sneed (drums).

HUEY LEWIS & THE NEWS –
Huey was born a long time ago in New York City. He moved to Marin County, California when he was 4 years old (better sandboxes!). At the tender age of 13, he went east to boarding school at the Lawrenceville School in New Jersey, where he began to play the harmonica … After graduating, he hitch-hiked throughout western Europe playing his harmonica for a year, and then attended Cornell University for a year and a half, where he played in bands, and went to some classes. After dropping out of Cornell, Huey moved back to California where he soon joined the country-rock band Clover. Clover played 3 or 4 sets a night, five or more nights a week for six years before being signed by Phonogram Records in London. They lived in London, recorded two records in Wales, disbanded and moved back to San Francisco where in 1977 Huey began to assemble what would be ‘The News’ with Johnny, Bill, Sean, Chris, and Mario. Their first record was released in January of 1980.

Jennifer Hanson
Jennifer’s reputation for great vocal chops and her torchy, seductive vocal style is among the finest in the current generation of jazz singers, while her stage presence is that of the classic generation of singers like Rosemary Clooney, Julie London and Vera Lynn. She’s definitely not just another voice in the crowd.
Jennifer’s repertoire runs the gamut from the jazz standard songbook and torchy heartbreakers to a large selection of well-loved World War II songs. Jennifer is one of the few singers in the Southeast who sings extensively in French and also in Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. Jennifer can also light the place up with Motown, Blues, Country and Pop tunes.

Consisting of musicians from more than seven countries, the Playing For Change Band has helped realize a dream of uniting the musicians met during PFC’s journey on one stage. A unique fusion of influences and talents in constant evolution since 2008, the PFC Band is a tangible, traveling representation of Playing For Change’s mission to connect the world through music. The PFC band has performed more than 400 concerts in over 25 countries, including being one of the first to perform in Argentina’s DirectTV Arena, a tour in Brazil headlining for an audience of 35,000, and a tour in Australia as the opening act for Robert Plant

No matter what he does or where he goes, Uncle Kracker adheres to a simple, yet rather timeless philosophy. “I really subscribe to this mindset of just having fun,” he affirms. “That’s what it’s always about. It’s the train that I’m forever on. The way I feel is if I’m enjoying it, it’s really worth doing.”
Now he’s having more fun than ever. And it certainly shows with the release of his brand new single “Floatin’.” Just in time for summer, the feel-good track recorded in Nashville couples Uncle Kracker’s heartfelt, infectious lyrics with a country groove that will keep fans smiling all summer long.
Uncle Kracker will be showcasing his new song in sheds across the country. His live show continues to get bigger and better with every tour. “It’s very interactive,” he says. “It’s meant to be a party, and I want everybody involved. Each time we go on stage, I want people to leave smiling.”

To quote a recent client, the SARTORI SHOW BAND is sure to “take your event from standard… to world class.” They bring an element of energy, passion, and showmanship that is in a league all of its own. Tom and his band perform a wide variety of party cover songs, ranging from Top 40, to 80’s Rock, to EDM, to Country, to Disco. Sartori has also had the honor of singing the national anthem for the NFL over a dozen times, including 2 Monday Night Football games. Tom Sartori and cast have toured over 35 countries and have performed at hundreds of high profile functions, corporate events, and Hollywood celebrity parties.

Tony’s whole life revolves around music, and he enjoys every minute he is entertaining people all over the world. He opened a recording studio in Moate, named “Roseland Studios” and all the major acts in Ireland record their albums there. Tony is totally motivated by music and with having the studio he is now directing his interests into the technical side of the business. However, we all know Tony as an entertainer, and there is no chance that he would ever give that up. He has a tremendous singing voice, with the ability to make any song his own.
